Hi Parents of room 203!
Welcome back...I hope you have a great week and let's always keep in mind that this blog is a great way to keep track of what your scholars are doing this week and weeks to come!
A Peek at Our Academic Week
Aug. 20th, 2012
Math: Scholars will review fact families and two digit addition.
Reading: We will review “just right books”, identifying enjoyable authors and genres, and “what good readers do”. For homework scholars will need to fill out the daily reading response sheet. This is to ensure they are reading with purpose.
Writing: Scholars will learn strategies for generating ideas and how to add detail.
Science: Scholars will review the rules, procedures and expectations for science/ science lab. A copy to introduce the first unit (Water unit) of study will be attached to the homework for this week.
Shining scholar!
